On the up, only 10 days until my 5K run, should be ok. Nike+ is awesome when it works, a real incentive to make some effort. The first blobs are when my band wasn’t working, the latter ones the replacement.

At last - a healthy snack! :) these fruit fingers from Sun-maid, are just fruit - with a very thin coating of yoghurty sugary stuff on the bottom. Very nice, but one isn’t enough!! :)
3 years agoAfter a blip on holiday - I’ve managed a couple of workouts, with a new nike plus band - as the first one dies from the shower - would be nice of nike to put a not waterproof warning on it. Rather than just on a downloadable pdf that tells you its rain proof but not to be used in a shower!!!
Still I’m feeling much better for it - though the boots shapers meal deals are at best - adequate. Still no pain, no gain.

Nike+ epic fail! grrr, seems to be a tad flakey, the running machine said i did 2.8KM sportsband says 0.93KM! denied! it got the time right, i used no calories apparently and the bit that shows run info totally borked out. :( It would seem as i had a flashing shoe and lines i got combo of it being paused and losing connection with the shoe. hummm. all that hard work lost.

Healthy eating, well I presume this is healthy ( checks packet - yep seems ok). I went for a natural juice rather than low calorie chemically sweetened drink. Which ups the calories but also the karma. Sadly i purchased a mix of almonds, sunflower seeds and yogurt coated cranberries - which I’ll have to ration as its the least healthy thing I’ve ever seen 100g = 40g carbs and 36.8g of fat. Though it does give you almost a third of your protein GDA.

3 years agoEpic fail yesterday - due to various commitments and eating chips and chocolate, the day was not tech fit. Not even a WiiFit session - thanks to Dr. Who and Lost Season Finale. Todays not going to plan either as I’ve no gym kit, so at best I may make a swim later (only if I got to ChavSportsWorld buy some trunks!) So maybe a trip to the gym tonight instead.

Nokia Sportstracker. I’ve had this for a while on my mobile (N95) sadly its not much use for gym based training - as it uses GPS to track your actual position. Which is mega awesome. It now has a nike plus style site to upload your work outs etc. Though I can’t seem to get my handset to log in with the account I have just created, all feels very beta.

The Problem! oddly within a stone - I’m probably the lightest I’ve been in the last 10 or 12 years right now. According to my height I should be between 11 and 12 stone. That ain’t ever gonna happen. But if I can get down to 12 1/5 or 13 That would be awesome. That said weight loss is not my prime objective, I want to get fit!
